Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Palette Hunt's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Service Description

Palette Hunt provides AI-powered color analysis and AI Studio services for personal styling, including a personalized color analysis report, AI-generated photos, and styling tools (hair color, makeup, outfits, photoshoots) powered by an in-product credit system.

We offer two parallel purchase models:

Subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Max), billed monthly or annually, with a recurring grant of AI Studio credits each billing period.
One-time purchases, including legacy analysis plans (Essential, Complete, Studio Pro) and credit packs, with no recurring billing.

New accounts may receive a one-time starter grant of AI Studio credits to try the Studio before subscribing. The exact amount and the conditions under which it is granted are described in the product and may change over time.

Use License

Permission is granted to use Palette Hunt's services for personal, non-commercial use only. Your account grants you:

Lifetime access to your personalized color analysis results once generated
The ability to download and use your analysis report and any AI-generated photos already created on your account for personal purposes
Access to AI Studio generation features for as long as you have available credits; subscription-tier perks (such as priority queue and early access on the Max tier) apply only while the corresponding subscription is active
The right to rerun your color analysis to ensure quality satisfaction

You may not:

Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or results
Modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying AI algorithms
Share your account credentials or transfer your purchase to another person
Use the service for any commercial purpose without explicit written permission

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Providing accurate photos for analysis to ensure quality results

Payment and Pricing

All prices are clearly displayed before purchase. Palette Hunt offers two parallel purchase models, and you choose at checkout which one applies.

Subscription plans (recurring billing):

Starter — monthly or annual billing, with a recurring grant of AI Studio credits each billing period.
Pro — monthly or annual billing, with a larger recurring credit grant than Starter.
Max — monthly or annual billing, with the largest recurring credit grant, plus priority queue, early access to new features, and dedicated support.

One-time purchases (no recurring billing):

Essential, Complete, and Studio Pro — legacy one-time plans bundling the color analysis with varying levels of AI-generated photos and AI Studio credits.
Credit packs — additional AI Studio credits, purchasable at any time.

The current price of each subscription tier and one-time purchase, the credit amounts included, and any introductory or promotional pricing are shown in the product before checkout. Those numbers may change over time; the version displayed at the moment you complete a purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.

Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time from the Stripe Customer Portal accessible inside your Palette Hunt account; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period (see Refund Policy below). One-time purchases are charged once with no recurring billing.

Subscription Mechanics

This section applies only if you are on a Starter, Pro, or Max subscription plan.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price until canceled.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the Customer Portal inside your account. After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges occur.
Tier upgrades (including switching from monthly to annual at the same tier) take effect immediately. We prorate the price difference, charge it at the time of the change, and add the corresponding credit difference to your balance right away.
Tier downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. You keep your current tier's benefits and credit grant for the period you have already paid for. No refund is issued for the change itself.
Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, Stripe will retry the charge for several days. During this period your account is marked as past-due and you can update your payment method from the Customer Portal. If payment still fails, the subscription will be suspended and credit grants will stop until billing is restored.

Material changes to subscription pricing or billing terms will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

If you're not satisfied with your analysis quality, you can rerun the test until you're completely happy with your results
Our AI is continuously improving to provide the most accurate color analysis
You can upload new photos and receive updated analysis to ensure satisfaction
Your satisfaction with the analysis quality is our top priority

Refund Policy

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (effective May 29, 2026). We want you to love your colors. For any purchase made on or after May 29, 2026, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the charge, provided you have not consumed any AI Studio credits from that purchase. AI Studio generations (photoshoots, hair color, makeup, outfits, and any other credit-based action) incur real AI processing costs, so once credits from a purchase have been used, that purchase is no longer eligible for this guarantee. This guarantee applies to both one-time purchases and subscription charges, and is in addition to our 100% Quality Guarantee (unlimited re-runs of your analysis). To request a refund, email hi@palettehunt.com with your account email and the charge date.

Beyond the Money-Back Guarantee above, the following also applies depending on which type of purchase you made.

One-time purchases (Essential, Complete, Studio Pro, credit packs):

Because of the digital nature of the service and instant delivery, refunds for one-time purchases are provided in the following cases:

Refunds are available within 30 days under our Money-Back Guarantee above, as long as you have not consumed any AI Studio credits from the purchase
Refunds are available if you experience technical issues that prevent delivery of your analysis report or AI-generated photos
Refunds are available if there are payment-processing errors resulting in duplicate charges
Refunds are not provided once AI Studio credits from the purchase have been used, as the AI processing has been delivered; our 100% Quality Guarantee with unlimited re-runs of your analysis applies instead

Subscriptions (Starter, Pro, Max — monthly or annual):

No refunds are issued by default for subscription charges. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges occur.

Zero-consumption exception. If you have not consumed any AI Studio credits in the current billing period — meaning no studio actions (photoshoot, hair color, makeup, outfits, or any other credit-based generation) have been run against the credit grant for that period — you may request a full refund of the corresponding subscription charge by emailing hi@palettehunt.com within 30 days of that charge.

This exception applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions, and to both the initial subscription charge and each renewal charge. Any one-time starter credits granted to new accounts before subscribing are separate from your subscription credit grant and do not count toward consumption for refund eligibility — only credits granted by the subscription charge itself are considered.

How refund requests are handled:

Refunds are not automated through the Stripe Customer Portal — all requests are handled manually by our support team
We will confirm eligibility and process eligible refunds within 5 business days of receiving the request
Any AI Studio credits that were granted by a charge we refund will be revoked from your account balance at the same time

Disputes and chargebacks:

Credits added to your account by a charge that is later refunded or successfully disputed will be reversed from your account balance. We reserve the right to suspend access in cases of repeated or fraudulent chargebacks.

AI Studio Credits

Credits are the in-product currency used in our AI Studio to generate personalized styling images:

Credit costs vary by action. The exact cost for each action is shown in the Studio before you generate, and may change over time.
Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
Credits are tied to your account and cannot be shared with other users
Additional credits can be purchased at any time through our credit packs, or earned each billing period via an active subscription

One-time and starter credits:

Credits purchased as one-time packs, granted with a one-time plan, or granted as a one-time starter balance to new accounts never expire and remain in your account indefinitely.

Subscription credits and rollover:

Credits granted by a monthly or annual subscription roll over from period to period, up to a maximum balance set per tier (described in the product). If your balance is already at or above that cap at the start of a new period, that period's grant is reduced or skipped — but credits already in your account are never removed. Existing balances above the cap (for example following a tier upgrade or other one-off grant) are preserved until you spend them down.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service:

For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations or laws
To upload photos of other individuals without their explicit consent
To upload inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted content
To attempt to abuse, exploit, or circumvent the service's intended functionality
To impersonate or attempt to impersonate the company, another user, or any other person or entity
To harass, abuse, or harm another person or group
To use the service in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair our servers

Service Delivery

Your color analysis results are typically delivered within 2-5 minutes after photo upload. You will receive:

An email notification with a link to view and download your results
Access to your results through your account dashboard
AI Studio credits added to your account balance — either the one-time grant from a legacy plan or credit pack, or the recurring monthly grant from your subscription tier
For Max subscribers: priority queue, early access to new features, and access to dedicated support

In rare cases where delivery is delayed beyond 24 hours due to technical issues, please contact hi@palettehunt.com for assistance.

Intellectual Property

The Palette Hunt platform, including all software, algorithms, designs, and content, is owned by Palette Hunt and protected by intellectual property laws. Your analysis results and AI-generated photos are provided for your personal use only.

Privacy and Data Usage

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and photos. By using our service, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Palette Hunt provides color analysis recommendations based on AI technology. While we strive for accuracy:

Results are provided as style recommendations and guidance, not professional advice
We do not guarantee specific outcomes from following the recommendations
Individual results may vary based on photo quality, lighting, and personal preferences
We are not liable for any decisions made based on the analysis results

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Customer Portal inside your account, or delete your account by contacting hi@palettehunt.com.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you materially breach these Terms of Service (including fraudulent payment activity or repeated chargebacks). Where termination is for cause, no refund will be issued for the remaining period of an active subscription. Where the account is in good standing and we terminate the service for our own reasons, any unused portion of a current subscription period will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. You will retain access to any previously generated color analysis results unless we are legally required to remove them.
