The team behind Palette Hunt

Color analysis, built by people who got tired of guessing

Palette Hunt started with a simple frustration: finding your colors meant paying hundreds for a one-hour appointment, or trusting a free quiz that barely looked at you. We thought technology could do better — so we built a tool that gives you a real, personalized color analysis in minutes, then lets you preview every look on your own face before you spend a thing.

Made by a small, independent team that genuinely cares about getting your colors right.

Why we started Palette Hunt

Personal color analysis genuinely changes how you shop and get dressed — the right palette makes you look healthier, brighter, and more like yourself. But the experience was stuck in the past: a pricey in-person draping session you had to book weeks ahead, or a free internet quiz that guessed from a couple of multiple-choice answers.

We believed AI and color science could give everyone the accuracy of a professional consultation — instantly, affordably, and from a single selfie. So we built it. Today Palette Hunt has helped people across the world discover their season and finally shop with confidence.

What makes us different

Most tools stop at a palette card. We render your recommendations on your real face — so you can preview a new hair color before the salon, test outfits before a wedding, or generate a photoshoot in your best colors. You see the result before you commit to it.

  • Your season, undertone, and full 30-color palette in about 5 minutes.
  • Previews on your own face: hair, makeup, outfits, and magazine-style photoshoots.
  • Built on real seasonal color theory, not a generic personality quiz.

What we care about

Three principles guide every decision we make — from the models we train to the prices we set.

Accurate, not generic

We pair computer vision with established seasonal color theory — undertone, value, and chroma — so your palette is built around your real features, not a one-size-fits-all quiz answer.

See it before you buy it

A palette card is just the start. We render every recommendation on your real face — hair colors, makeup, outfits, and photoshoots — so you can decide what actually suits you.

Honest and private

Clear, one-off pricing with no surprises, and your photos are used to generate your results — never sold. We want you to trust the people behind the screen.

Who's behind it

We're a small, independent, fully remote team — engineers and color enthusiasts who use the product ourselves. When you email us, a real person on this team writes back.

Stylists and color enthusiasts who pressure-test every palette, write our guides, and make sure the recommendations hold up in the real world.

Why you can trust the results

Our analysis is grounded in the same seasonal color theory that professional consultants use — the relationship between your skin's undertone, the value (lightness) of your features, and their chroma (softness or clarity). The difference is that our models read those signals from your photo consistently, every time, without an appointment.

We come from a software and AI background, and we treat color analysis as an engineering problem as much as a styling one: better data, careful modeling, and previews you can actually see — so you can judge the result with your own eyes instead of taking our word for it.

Upload a clear selfie

One natural-light photo is all we need to read your undertone and features.

AI determines your season

Computer vision plus seasonal color theory map you to one of the 16 sub-seasons.

Preview it on your face
