Winter color analysis identifies individuals with cool undertones and high-contrast, bold coloring. Winters have a natural coolness in their skin, hair, and eyes, and look best in vivid, cool colors like true red, cobalt blue, emerald, and fuchsia. The Winter palette is characterized by colors that are cool, bright, and high in contrast.

You may be a Winter if: your skin has cool, pink or blue undertones; your eyes are striking (dark brown, icy blue, or cool green); your hair is naturally dark or very light without warm tones; silver jewelry looks better on you than gold; and you look best in bold, vivid colors rather than muted or warm shades.

Winters should generally avoid warm, muted, or earthy colors that can dull their striking coloring. This includes orange, warm yellows, beige, camel, olive, warm browns, and any colors with golden or peachy undertones. Muted pastels can also wash out Winters.

While both Winter and Summer have cool undertones, the key difference is in contrast and saturation. Winters have high contrast and look best in bold, vivid cool colors. Summers have low contrast and suit soft, muted cool colors. Winters shine in cobalt and fuchsia, while Summers glow in powder blue and dusty rose.

The four Winter sub-seasons are: Deep Winter (rich, dark colors with high contrast), True/Cool Winter (purely cool with high contrast), Bright Winter (vivid, electric colors with very high contrast), and Clear Winter (icy, crystalline colors with exceptional clarity). Each sub-season has its own optimized color palette.

Winters look best in cool, bright metals that complement their striking coloring. Silver, platinum, white gold, and chrome are ideal choices. The shinier and brighter, the better for most Winters. Deep Winters can also wear darker gunmetal, while Bright Winters can occasionally wear rose gold.
