Palette Hunt plugin privacy

Palette Hunt is operated by Eiras Labs LLC. The Palette Hunt plugin provides public seasonal palette references and styling ideas in ChatGPT. It does not connect to a Palette Hunt account or access personal color reports, photos, payment details, or business analytics.

Information used

When you use the plugin, ChatGPT sends the season you choose, your styling goal, any undertone and contrast hints you explicitly provide, and a language tag. The Studio may also receive your comparison palette, preferred view, outfit style, and selected public color assignments. These inputs select public styling references. When supported, the current board selections are shared with ChatGPT so you can refine the board through conversation. Saved board names and your library of boards are not included in that context. Do not send photos, health information, passwords, or other sensitive data to this plugin. It does not request or retrieve your full conversation.

Processing and retention

Palette Hunt computes each result for the request without storing a plugin profile or saving tool inputs or results in its application database. The plugin does not call advertising or product analytics services. Your current board, selected colors, and up to twelve named boards may be kept in ChatGPT widget state and browser local storage. ChatGPT handles its state under OpenAI’s privacy policy. Browser storage is local to that browser and may be unavailable in some embedded views. These boards do not sync to a Palette Hunt account. Remove a board from the Saved view, or clear the plugin’s browser storage, to remove local saved data. Disconnecting the plugin does not necessarily clear browser storage.

Board images are generated in the widget from your selected public styling references. When you choose Download board, the image is passed to the host’s download feature, or downloaded in your browser where supported. It is not uploaded to a Palette Hunt image service.

Requests pass through our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which processes network information such as IP addresses and security information to deliver and protect the service. Cloudflare Workers operational logs are retained for up to seven days. They are used for reliability and security, not to build advertising profiles. OpenAI processes the conversation and tool interaction under its own policies.

Links and control

Palette Hunt generates reference links with the chosen public season and styling goal, without appearance hints or conversation text. ChatGPT may add a return URL containing the conversation identifier when opening our website. That identifier does not give Palette Hunt access to the conversation. Plugin links open only this standalone Studio and plugin information pages. The plugin does not promote paid products or send users to purchase, upgrade, or subscription flows. You can stop using or disconnect the plugin in ChatGPT, and manage or delete conversations using ChatGPT’s controls.
